Saturday afternoon 2nd August 1.30 - 4.30 ON THE DAY Join Jane Body for a relaxed and inspiring afternoon creating a beautiful summer wreath using fresh seasonal flowers and foliage. Jane will guide you through the process of building a sculptural base, choosing your materials, and arranging them with an eye for colour, texture, and movement. You will explore different ways to shape and suspend your wreath — whether as a traditional wall-hung circle or a horizontal hanging to float above a table or in a window. As the flowers dry naturally, your wreath will retain much of its colour and charm, lasting for months as a celebration of summer. LUNCH If you're joining us for the afternoon workshop, you're very welcome to arrive early for lunch alongside the other students. You are welcome to bring your own lunch, or treat yourself to a delicious £12.50 meal provided by The Goring Grocer, known for their exceptional food. The lunch includes a generous slice of quiche, seasonal salad, and a homemade sweet treat. Hot drinks and biscuits will be available all day. TOOLS AND MATERIALS All fresh flowers, foliage, wire, and base materials will be provided, along with snips and any necessary tools. Additional decorative elements will be available on the day. ADVISORY NOTE You will be using sharp snips and wire. WHAT TO BRING A bag or box to help transport your wreath safely. If you have favourite flowers from your garden or special ribbon you would like to include, feel free to bring them along. TAKE HOME You will take home a one-of-a-kind wreath designed and made by you, using fresh materials that will dry naturally and retain their colour. Whether hung on a wall or suspended from the ceiling, it will be a lasting piece of seasonal beauty.
